My name is Kara, and I am a certified birth and postpartum doula through the Madriella Doula Network. As a mother of seven wonderful children, I bring both personal and professional experience to my work, having experienced a variety of birth journeys, including my last three births at home, as well as the joy of welcoming a child into our family through adoption.

My own experiences have deepened my passion for supporting women and families throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. This passion inspired me to pursue doula work, where I have spent the past four years providing individualized, compassionate care to growing families. I have also recently started working with other local Doulas, allowing me to expand my support for families in our community.

I believe every family deserves to feel heard, empowered, and supported during this transformative season of life. My goal is to provide personalized, nurturing doula care that honors each family's unique needs and preferences, offering education, encouragement, and continuous support from pregnancy through birth and beyond.

I offer comprehensive birth and postpartum support, including childbirth education, comfort measures and non-medical pain management techniques, breastfeeding support, and guidance throughout the postpartum period.

I prioritize building trusting relationships with my clients by listening to their concerns, understanding their preferences, and working together to create a birth plan that reflects their wishes. My goal is to help women feel informed, confident, and empowered to make decisions about their care while providing the encouragement, reassurance, and hands-on support they need throughout pregnancy, birth, and the transition into parenthood. I strive to create a supportive environment where every family feels respected, heard, and cared for as they navigate this life-changing experience.
